Fridays Letters!

Dear Mr. Burns, I love you! And I am very excited to spend a sunny weekend with you! Thank you for being such a sweet husband to me.  Its been so much fun watching my home videos from my childhood, even though I'm not in them as much as you'd like, you get to see me and my childhood in a whole new light! Its pretty funny and embarrassing at the same time!

Dear Miley, I hope your ready to get the workout of your life tomorrow, because you'll be walking a 5K with daddy and I!  I just hope I don't have to end up carrying you to the finish line :) You'll be looking super cute no matter what though!

Dear Walk-a-thon, I am pretty excited that Jon and I are participating in your event for my office.  Such a fun way to spend a Saturday morning AND raise some money for our clients in need! Double win!

Dear Sirius radio, You completely made my morning! Not long ago, I discovered the best station EVER on you, Pop 2K, which only plays music from 2000-2010, which completely makes my drives to and from work pretty fun and exciting.  But this morning, as I'm cruising on the freeway the "Thong Song" by Sisqo came on, OMG! Dance party and memories in my car! That song definitely put a smile on my face this morning, Thank you!

Dear 30th birthday, OMG, you are only 21 short days away! I cannot believe that I will no longer be in my 20's in a few weeks, sad!!! But I am super excited for my birthday celebration and feel so lucky that I have friends from Oregon coming down to help celebrate with me! Just remember, 30 is just a number because I'm never going to grow up! Like Avril Lavigne says "HERES TO NEVER GROWING UP!"

Friday's Letters

Dear Husband, Your reaction last night after the mini earthquake we had was priceless.  You were so cute running around, googling it, and talking about it over and over again.  I couldn't help but just laugh :)

Dear Miley, You are just too sweet and cute! How did I get so lucky to have such a sweet lil doggie like you?!

Dear Meagan, I got my goodies yesterday!!! I loved them! Thank you so much! You are so sweet and am so happy to have been connected with you!

Dear Meat, We have been broken up now for about a month and it feel SO good! But I have to admit, I was very tempted yesterday at dinner, watching Jon enjoy those carnitas tacos at the taqueria made me a little jealous.  But I will continue to be strong and stay away from you, thank you!

Dear Mom, I'm sad that I cant spend Mothers day with you this year, BUT ill  be seeing you next weekend and will have presents! I cannot wait!

Dear Home ownership, I cannot wait to be in your club! Ive been dreaming about this for a long time now.  I hope our talking with the lender brings us good news and that our meeting with the real estate agent on Sunday will be even better!

Dear Husband, I am so excited for this summer and all of the fun adventures we are planning!

Friday's Letters

Dear Miley, We celebrated your 3rd birthday on Wednesday and had so much fun! You are so darn cute!!! Especially when you wore your party hat.  I know you were a little mad at me about it, but I just couldn't help it, I love dressing you up!

Dear Husband, When you texted me on Wednesday, telling me that you had a surprise for us, I was expecting something a little more exciting than a TV.  I think that surprise was just for you! :) and now we have more TV's than there is room for in our house.  I just don't get it....

Dear work, Things have been a little crazy this week! I wish things would slow down a bit, but I do love that I'm getting thrown into so many new situations and learning so much! That's what makes me love my job, there is something new everyday! Now if only doing New Employee Orientation was more exciting.....

Dear Hair appointment, I cannot wait to get my hair cut tomorrow, hopefully I have a better experience this time than the last time.  I hope the new person I'm seeing tomorrow can fix what the last person did.  I miss my hair girl in Oregon, she always did such an awesome job :(

Dear Spring, I love you and all of the sunshine and warm weather that you bring! I love driving home from work and enjoying the sunshine on my face!

Dear Weekend, I am so happy that you are finally here!!! Ive been waiting for you to show your pretty little face since Monday!

 

FRIDAY'S LETTERS

Dear Husband, I'm very excited for our fun filled weekend, starting with date night tonight, the beach tomorrow and then Six Flags on Sunday.  I love my life with you!

Dear Miley, Your 3rd birthday is Wednesday, and I cannot wait to celebrate you and spoil you even more than usual.  I cannot wait to dress you up in a pretty dress and bake you a special cake! Love you baby girl!

Dear Joe, Thanks for coming down and spending a few days with us.  We had such a great time with you here! Now I think you should just pack up your things, and move down, we just got a futon, and it has you name all over it! :)

I haven't participated in Friday's Letters in SO long, but I'm back!!!

 

Dear Husband: You are the BEST! I love that you still continue to surprise me with such thoughtful lil gifts.  Last week you surprised me with the JT CD already loaded in my car, so when I turned my car on in the morning, it started playing.  What a great way to start my day.  And then this week, another CD? This one with "Wendy" songs.  You are the best and I am so lucky to have you!

 

Dear Miley: I love you! You are too cute! It has been over a month now that you get to stay out of your crate while mommy and daddy are at work and you are doing great! You are such a smart and well behaved doggie! Next month you are turning 3!

 

Dear Working out: I'm pretty proud of myself because I am taking you a lot more serious now! I now look forward to working out when I get home from work, which makes husband happy.  You help us find another thing to bond and connect over.  Thank you! Now make me skinny for the summer please! :)

 

Dear San Jose: You are a great city! I love living here, that is all :)

 

Dear Federal & State Taxes: I hate you!! You have not been very nice to Jon and I the past 2 years! But just wait, next year WE will be getting cash!

 

 

 

 

Fridays Letters

Dear home: Can you please pack yourself?  I am so dreading packing up our life! Im going to miss living here.  Jon and I have some great memories with you! And living here has made our life in Seattle such a great experience! 

Dear Mr. Burns,  I love you!!! Thank you for working your butt off and making this move a possibility! And THANK YOU for my wonderful surprise last night! Sorry I was a brat and refused to make the bed, which ended up ruining your surprise! BUT seeing you pull out the Hello Kitty build a bear that Ive been wanting for over a month now made me SO happy!!! Thank you baby! Now you get to sleep with 4 hello kitty's every night!!!! lol

Dear Miley, Soon you will be living a wonderful life in California! I hope you are as excited for the move as we are!  Im so happy that daddy bought you a purse, that you love, because it definitely helps with your car anxiety, which is great, because we have a long drive ahead of us! I think you like the bag because you feel like a princess sitting in there! 

Friday's Letters

Dear Husband, We will be celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary in 2 weeks! I cannot believe that its already going to be 1 year since we said "I Do" in front of our family and friends.  I love you so much and I love our life together! Thank you for working so hard to provide for your family and for busting your butt to make our dreams come true! I am so proud of you baby and am so thankful for everything that we have together, Go TEAM BURNS!!! Thank you for being my comedian and always making me laugh! I love you SO much baby!
Dear Miley, I know that you are going to be a VERY happy doggie when we move to sunny California, you are a California girl at heart just like your mama!
Dear Sisters & mom, Thank you for coming us to spend the 4th of July with Jon and I.  Jon & I keep talking about how much fun we had with you guys.  I have the coolest family!
Dear Mike, Thank you for sacrificing your sleep to drive the family up to visit.  Even though you had to work on Thursday morning at 5:30 am, never once did you complain about not heading back to Portland at midnight, your a pretty cool brother in law!
Dear Seattle Weather, I am SO happy that its going to be a nice and sunny weekend! I cant wait to spend my weekend outdoors enjoying the sunshine with my loves!
Dear work, THANK YOU for allowing me to work 4/10's this summer! I am so happy to have 3 day weekends so I can enjoy the sunshine even more! This makes Miley very happy too because she gets to spend more time with her mama!

Fridays Letters

Dear Husband, THANK YOU!!! You did such a great job surprising me yesterday for my birthday! From waking up to a house decorated in pink and hello kitty, lunch together, my AWESOME birthday present and a wonderful dinner.  I couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate my last birthday in my 20's!  I definitely fell asleep last night with a BIG smile on my face!

Dear Miley, Why are you so darn cute and funny??! I love running around the house with you when we are home alone.  Thanks for being such a sweet baby

Dear Courtney, I am so excited that you decided to make a last minute trip to Seattle so you can celebrate my birthday weekend with me, you are the best!

Dear Seattle Weather, I know that the weekend weather forecast is looking pretty gloomy and rainy, but can you please give us a little bit of sunshine??? That would really make me a happy girl!

Dear Mom & Sisters, I am so happy that you guys will be coming up to visit on 4th of July.  We are going to have such a fun time together.  I miss you guys so much!!!

Dear San Jose,  Looks like you will be getting 2 new residents in September! I am so excited for this next chapter in our lives.  I hope the promise of sunshine is kept and that Jon and I live happily ever after with you!

Dear Portland Friends, I am so excited that you guys are coming up to help celebrate Jon's birthday with us.  Celebrations in Seattle are not the same without our awesome Portland friends.  I know that this weekend will mean a lot to Jon :)

Dear Seattle Weather, THANK YOU!!!! Its such a pretty sunny day today, and it'll be the same tomorrow! This is a great way to start our fun filled weekend!

Dear Husband, I know this weekend is all about you and your birthday, but don't forget that MY birthday is next Thursday..........You know what i want :) (Hint hint, Hello Kitty!!!!) I know that whatever you do for me will be wonderful and special. Love you!

Dear Burns Men (Jon's dad & brother), Thank you for making a special trip up yesterday to see Jon and to spend some time with him.  It makes him so happy spending time with the 2 of you.  And Thank you Mr. Burns (dad) for bringing up my pink bike and all of Jon's childhood boxes, it was a lot of fun going through them last night and laughing at all of your silly outfits and haircuts! :)

Dear Husband, Sorry for laughing at you when you ran inside screaming the other day after you had gone outside to turn on the BBQ for dinner.  I honestly thought you had seen a spider, only to find out that there was a RAT in our grill! UGH! Just writing this makes my skin crawl! I would of freaked out if I was the one that encountered that lovely creature!

Dear Miley, I almost freaked out on Sunday when you went missing from your aunties house.  I don't know what i would do with myself if I ever lost you! Please don't ever wonder off by yourself ever again.  I know that you are a big girl now, but you are still my baby!

Dear Chris & Ainara, ITS MOVING DAY!!! I am so excited for the 2 of you! I'm sad that we wont live down the street from each other anymore, but so happy about your new house! But don't worry, Jon and I will be over at your new place all the time now :)

Dear weekend, I am so happy that you have arrived!!!! I even did some car dancing this morning to my girl Britney!
