What scares me...

Day 7, Tuesday: The thing(s) you're most afraid of

Not becoming a mommy.  Even though Miley makes my heart happy, I would also love to be a mommy to a human baby..... Ill be 30 next month, time is ticking and it really freaks me out.

Losing my connection with my nieces and nephews.  I miss those kids SO much!! (even though some of them are not kids anymore) 

Not being able to own my own home with Jon

Someone from my family dying, especially my mom, or even my dad.  If my dad would pass away right now, I would hate myself for never speaking to him and trying to rebuild our relationship after so many years.

Today is my lil princess 3rd birthday!  I cannot believe that it has already been 3 years since our baby girl was born.  She always brings a smile to my face and is such a mama's girl.  Our lil Burns family wouldnt be complete without her!

We will be celebrating her special day today with a new dress, some yummy birthday girl treats and maybe even a cake! Ill make sure to document all of the fun and make a special blog post all about it!

Baby Shower!

Today was my friend Marissa's baby shower.  Marissa and I have been friends since freshman year in high school. and we also went to church together, so we have gone on many missions trips together.  Marissa moved to the Seattle area after high school for college and has been living out here ever since. 

Marissa and her husband Jeremy (who we also went to church with) are having a little boy and they are naming him Malakye Thomas.

Marissa's friends threw her such a cute baby shower, all revolving around baseball.  They did a great job with all of the little details.  I didnt get a chance to get many picutres, but here are the few that i did get.

Jon and I aren't trying to have a baby at the moment, but i got a new app for my phone called the period diary.  Its actually pretty cool and i was playing with it today.  I think its pretty cool and a nice thing to have to keep track of everything.  Anyway, i noticed that on the top of the screen a banner was sliding by saying "You fertile window is active" and i thought it was funny so I had to snap a picture and send it to Jon:

Lol, I'm sure he was not expecting to get that from me today! hahaha.  But really, i cannot wait until we have a baby.  Im so excited to be a mommy and have our little family grow.  Miley has been begging to be a big sister for a while now, she's tired of being the only child.

Girls date

After work i headed to Bellvue mall to meet up with Holly and Savannah for dinner and some shopping.  Holly is in town visiting her aunt so we made plans to meet up.  This is my 1st time seeing Savannah after my wedding, so she looks much different.  The last time i saw her, she was a tiny little baby and now shes much bigger.  It was fun to hangout with Holly and walk around the mall.  I didn't really shop  because i was pretty tired and wasn't in the mood for it.
