Super bowl weekend recap

I started off our super bowl weekend by having craft night with Ainara on Friday night.  We went to Michaels and got t-shirts and lots of supplies to decorate them with.  We had so much fun making our shirts.  Neither one of us cared for either of the teams this year, so i made a Patriots shirt and she went with the Giants.  It was a fun night with wine and crafts.
Our blank slates.. And our super cool foam fingers!

I also got the awesome painting i ordered from Etsy on friday.  I was so excited for it! I found this shop on Estsy and i fell in love with her work.  So i contacted her and she personalized one of her paintings for me.  Allison was great to work with and very accommodating to what i wanted.
I love the way it came packaged, so cute
I love it!!! I had her incorporate our wedding date onto it too, so cute!!!
I also finished organizing our pantry.  I think it looks pretty good :)
And this is our day 3 feb photo of the day: Hands

Saturday was a fun filled day! We went to "The Game" in Kirkland for some lunch.  Jon decided to be off his diet this weekend and have some fun and ordered some nachos, thank goodness! lol.
We planned on going to Snoqualmie Falls and go for a hike.  Unfortunately, the trails are closed until March BUT we did get to see the falls and enjoy the scenery! It was so pretty at the falls, but it was also so cold and windy.  I was ready to go after a few minutes, lol.
My favorite drink! Loves it!

We then drove into Fall City and decided to stop and check out the town.  It was super cute and it reminded us of the coast in Oregon.  There was a train museum and we decided to check it out and explore.  It was actually really fun.  We also went into an antique shop and Jon was in HEAVEN! The guy that owned the shop had so much stuff, and lots of toys from the 90's.  Jon wanted to buy everything, but he was only able to get 1 thing.  Which was a ninja turtle in a santa suit, lol.

Our ninja turtle that made it home with us.
After Fall city, we headed to the outlet mall, YAY! They have a volcom outlet that i love so i was very excited that we were headed there.  I got to come home with some goodies :)  After all of that fun, Jon and I were exhausted.  We headed to dinner at Pen Thai and then we spent the rest of our evening at home relaxing with our little princess.
My feb photo of the day at dinner.  Strangers
Love him!
My purchases
We also went to Michaels again and Jon spoiled me
Found these super cute note cards there too!

Now onto Sunday! Jon,Chris,Ainara and I all went to Chris & Ainara's friends house who was having a super bowl party.  It was so much fun! Ainara & I impressed everyone with our awesome shirt, foam fingers and beer cozies! We watched the game, played some beer pong, ate some yummy food and made some new friends.

Feb photo a day.  Day 5 10am, Miley likes to watch her mommy get ready in the mornings.

Organizing.....

Since i spend most of my time at work bored out of my mind, i spend A LOT of time on pinterest.  I have found so many great things on this site and I've been pretty good about actually following through with my pins and actually making the receipt or following the tips and ideas.  Anyway, I've been meaning to organize our pantry because its so disorganized and i do not like it at all.  Then i found this on pinterest:
Source
This isn't the original pin that i found on pinterest, but its the same concept.  So today, on my lunch, i headed to the dollar tree and bought 6 plastic baskets to organize our pantry.  I was so excited to get home and start organizing.  This is what our pantry looked like before (I forgot to take a "before" picture before i got started, i was too excited! lol, so the top shelf is already organized in this picture BUT you get the idea!)

I ended up not buying enough baskets, so ill have to go back tomorrow to finish organizing, but so far so good.  Im glad that i did this!

Another idea i found on pinterest was this:

This was another organizing idea that i was SUPER excited about.  Its a mail station to keep all the mail organized.  Im so glad that i did this and have incorporated it into our lives.  Before this, guess where i would put Jon's mail so that i was sure that he checked it?  In his bathroom! lol.  But if i didn't put it there, he would NEVER check his mail that i would leave on the counter.  We have been doing this for a week and it has been working out GREAT! I love it and i feel like such a grown up! lol.

Im so glad pinterest is around, it has seriously made life so much more fun and it has helped me be more creative.

When i was at the dollar tree, i also got a cute little basket for Miley's toys.  I placed it next to her "room".  one minute it looked like this:

And next thing i see is THIS:

What mom??!!

She cracks me up.

And last but not least, my Feb Photo of the day:
