iPhone and my princess

My new phone FINALLY arrived today!! I was so excited to get it! Jon came and picked me up for lunch and surprised me with it.  Im sad that i have to get a new # but so very happy that i have a new phone!!! Jon and I went to a Chinese restaurant down the hill from my office, they have a really good lunch special and good food.  It was hard to do any work the rest of the afternoon with my new phone sitting next to me!

And of course, the 1st picture I took had to be of my pretty little princess!

3 Months of LOVE

Jon and I celebrated our 3 month anniversary at the Melting Pot today.  It was so nice and yummy! I made Jon a card and Jon surprised me with pink roses waiting for me at the table when we got to the restaurant.  I love my husband so much, and how special he always makes me feel.  We had a nice yummy dinner and we were stuffed by the time we left.

Yesterday, as i mentioned before, was a year since Jon proposed.  And since, i have such a sweet and caring man, who knows that i love to celebrate as many special moments as we can, he planned a special dinner for us.  On his lunch he went to the store to get groceries for our dinner, then went home and marinated stakes.  I got home, and he wasn't home yet, so i just started to clean up a little.  Jon walked in about 20 mins later with a bouquet of pink flowers for me, with a big pink bow.  The flowers also had daisy's, like the flowers we had at our wedding. He is so cute! Anyway, he got started on getting dinner ready.  I put the flowers in a vase that was used for our candy bar at the wedding, and also lit some candles and decorated the dinner table with the same decorations that we used on the dinner tables at our wedding, i also put the picture of him proposing on the table.  It was perfect and cute! Dinner was super yummy too, Jon did a really good job cooking the stakes.  After dinner, we just hang out and watched some TV.  I love him so much and i love that he doesn't mind doing all these little things for me.  He really is the perfect person for me.

A year ago today.......

Jon got down on one knee and proposed! I can still remember the day so well. I got up early Sunday morning because i had a nail appointment.  I was annoyed at Jon because he still hadn't proposed and that morning, he was telling me that he wasn't sure if the ring we had picked out was the ring he wanted to buy me and that he still wanted to shop around.  Of course that annoyed me, because i was SOOO ready for it to happen! Anyway, i left for my nail appointment (which happened to take 3 hrs) half way through my appointment Jon called me and asked me when i would be coming home.  I told him that i would be home soon and didn't understand why he cared when i came home, lol.  When i got home, he said that he wanted us to go for a walk, and that i should get pretty for our walk.  I told him that i already look pretty and that there was no need for me to shower and get dolled up if we were just going for a walk.  He made one last attempt to get met to get dolled up, which i still refused, and off we went.  We drove to Council Crest, which we had never been to before.  We get out of the car and started walking but then Jon ran back to the car because he "forgot" something.  Once he got back, we walked up to the view point, where there is a really pretty view of Mt. Hood, as we walked he started to tell me how much he loved me and how special i was to him, which i still didn't think anything of it because we talk to each other like that a lot. Anyway,  i had my camera, and wanted to take a picture.  I asked Jon to ask someone to take a picture of us, so he walked over to an older lady and asked her to take our picture, he also told her that he was going to propose, which i had no idea.  So i still there smiling waiting for the lady to take the picture, when Jon grabs my shoulders and turns me to face him, gets down on one knee, and asked me to marry him.  I was so confused and happy at the same time.  It was so cute and he was SOO nervous.  The lady was great and took pictures of the whole thing! I'm so glad that she captured the moment for us! It was so cute! and i just kept laughing.  The lady said congrats, we got our camera and headed back to the car.  Once we were in the car guess what i said?! "I wish i would of gotten pretty for this!" lol. My hair was a mess and i wasn't really wearing make up, the way i looked was okay for going for a walk but NOT for when your boyfriend is proposing to you! HAHAHAHA, so we headed back home and i took the shower i should of taken earlier that day and get "pretty" we then went to dinner where our friends met up with us to celebrate.  It was such a great and special day.  I loving thinking back to that day and how happy and special i felt.  I love Jon so much and i appreciate everything that he does for me.  I love that he likes to do sweet things for me because all of those little things make life so much more special.

Now a year later, I'm married to my best friend and my prince charming.I look back at our wedding pictures and just see how truly amazing and beautiful the wedding was.  I really did get my fairytale wedding.

So since Ive had my dress, Ive been on the look out for the PERFECT shoes, and today, i met them!!!! Jon and I went to the mall, a mall we had never been to, and as we were walking through Nordstrom, i spotted them!! they were sitting there on the display, calling my name.  They were pink and sparkly, everything i envisioned and more, and there they were!!! I instantly told Jon that they were the ones, but after looking at the price he said that i should try to find cheaper shoes.  I didn't argue, because we had just gotten to the mall and i knew that we would have to walk past them on the way out.  Soooo on the way out, we stopped to look at them again.  A sales guy saw us and asked if i wanted to try them on, and i said YES! so he brought me my size and i put them on and was even more in love.  The moment i put them on, Jon knew they were the ones too.  i felt like such a pretty princess in them and i cannot wait to wear them with my dress!!! I AM SOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Elli’s Birthday

-Got up early today to meet up with Pastor Frisinger. It was a really good meeting. We talked about communication, something that Jon and I do need to work on, well I do, because I'm really bad at it. Anyway, we talked to him about me coming back and working at OHSU and Jon staying in Redmond. Pretty much what was decided was that that wasn’t a good idea. I need to stay with Jon and try to find a job that I love here, in Redmond. Which I agree, I would be sad if I left Jon and OHSU was a really stressful job. I just need to start looking for something I enjoy in Redmond, and finding a job that I enjoy will probably make me like living out here a little better. So Monday, I'm going to start looking for a new job that will make me happy!


-Jon and I then went to the Shane. Co to find our wedding bands. I did not like it there and they were not very helpful, so we went to Kays at the mall. Oh man, did we find what we were looking for! Lol. First, I was trying to find a band that matches my engagement ring but, since I designed it myself, there was no band that looked good with my ring. So then the guy said that we can trade my ring in and get a whole new ring that had a wedding band that matches. I was a little hesitant at 1st because, its MY ring, MY special ring that Jon pop the question with! But after some looking we found a ring, that looks pretty much like my original ring, and we are keeping the original heart shaped diamond, so we went ahead and got me a new ring. So now I'm ring less, because I had to leave my ring there, for 2 weeks, it wont be ready until June 25th, my bridal shower day. I'm excited to get it and see what it looks like! We also got Jon his wedding band, and we really like it. I'm excited to see him wearing that everyday. I think it finally hit him that were getting married so soon when he was trying on the bands. He so cute!

-After the ring shopping, we went to Build a Bear and I got a new Hello Kitty bear! YAY! It’s a pink one and its super cute! Now I can cuddle with 2 Hello Kittys!


-We then headed over to Elli’s party, which was at Esme and Curtis’s house. It was a lot of fun. They had a dj, and really good food! My dad was there of course, I didn’t talk to him, I just said hi. His daughter was there too, and she kept talking to me. I felt bad, because I didn’t want to be mean, but I also have nothing to say to her. But I was nice and tried my best. It was really fun hanging out with all of my family together, including my dad. Jon had fun too, hanging out with the boys. I'm glad that Juan and everyone likes him and makes him feel like a part of the family.

Im sitting at work listening to my Ipod and our song just came on.  The song that i want to have my first dance to with Jon at our wedding.  Everytime i hear this song, i get butterflys in my stomatch just listening to the lyrics and imganing Jon and I dancing to it in front of our all our guest.  I can imagine people looking at us with tears in their eyes, tears of joy because they can see how in love we are and how happy they all are that we married.  I get so excited thinking about my future with Jon. I love him so much!

Last night we also started watching the "Love & Respect" video that Pastor Frisinger is having us watch.  Im glad that we FINALLY sat down to watch it and it already has helped us comminicate with each other about our insecurities and how we can make things betting in our relationship.  Im happy that were doing this together becasue this will just bring us even closer and help us have a better realationship.  I couldnt imagine doing this with anyone else.
