Mother's Day part 1

Jon and I started the day off bright and early.  We headed to Salem to spend the morning/afternoon with Jon's parents.  We had a lot of fun with Jon's parents, we had lunch together, gave Betsey her Mother's day gift and went through a bunch of boxes with tons of Jon's childhood memories, THAT was a lot of fun! 

I love that his parents saved everything and took such good care of all of his things.  There were boxes of toys Jon used to play with and children books he would read, which of course, i want us to keep so we can use for our babies someday. Jon really enjoyed looking through everything, and wished that we had more time to sit and really go through everything.  But his parents will be bringing the boxes up to us sometime this summer, before we move, so he will have plenty of time to sit and good through everything.

And agin, I didnt even get a picture of her opening her gift :( But we got her a photo book with picutres from our wedding.

We hit the road back to Portland around 2:30.  Jon had to get back into town in time to meet up with the guys and go golf

We all met up at Koli's.  The guys, Jon, Kyle, Steve, and Jarred all headed out to go golf.  Us girls, and Joe & Badd, all went to McMenamins for some happy hour, I've been missing their ruby beer.  I love McMenamins! I wish there were some out in Washington.
