Portland bound!!!!

Jon and I hit the road to Portland today.  I was so excited to be back in Portland with my family and friends.  Jon had to work a half day, but i got to sleep in and pack in the morning.  I then drove to Jon's office to pick him and hit the road home!!!

I got to Jon's office a little early, so i hung out in the car until he was ready to go.  While i was waiting, i checked my email and what did i see???!!!!!!

AAGGGHHHH!!!!!! I was SO excited when i read this email! They liked me, they really like me!!! lol.  Getting this email definitely started our weekend off great! I was SO very happy! So i emailed them back, and I'm meeting with them next Tuesday at 7:30 am - 9:30 am, I'm not sure why we are meeting for so long, because I'm meeting with 2 people BUT i cannot wait! 

Jon and I finally hit the road to Portland at noon, it was a nice and sunny day, so the drive wasn't bad, and we didn't get stuck in any traffic, thank goodness!

We got to Portland around 3, and we decided to hit up the mall and do some shopping.  Jon got a few Oregon Ducks memorabilia for his man cave.  Then we headed over to Rob's house, where i dropped Jon off and they got ready to get on a plane to San Diego.  I then headed over to my mom's house, and hang out with my mom, sisters and niece and nephews. 

My mom still has my old prom picture up in the house, cracks me up.  This was over 10 years ago, am i really THAT old? lol

My mom made me chilaquiles.  The dish i always request her to make for me when i visit.

Later that night, my mom, sister, brother in law and nephews went over to my uncles house to visit.  I haven't seen them since Jon and I got married, so it was nice to visit with them for a little bit.
