Gotta get down on Friday!!!

Woooohoo!!! The weekend has finally arrived! Work has been extra slow this week because it's spring break, so no one is on campus.  I wish i could get a spring break and still get paid. 

Anyway, Jon and I have some exciting plans for this weekend and i cannot wait.  We are going on an exploring adventure tomorrow, and were starting our day bright and early.  I just want to have a nice little get away with him, and just take a break from what we usually do on the weekends.  We also need to get out more and explore Washington.  We have been here for a year now, and have yet to explore whats around us.  We don't plan in living here forever, so we really need to take advantage of this place while we still can.  We plan on driving out to Cama Beach, which is about and hour and a half up north, hopefully its a fun little place to check out.  If not, I'm sure well find something fun to do along the way.  We also plan on bringing Miley with us, so i just hope she does okay in the car.  She has bad car anxiety and it always makes me feel so bad for her because there's nothing i can do to make her feel better.  But we also don't want to leave her at home alone, she is part of this family and has to participate on our adventures! :)

We had a few sun breaks this week, and the turtles that live on campus took full advantage of it.  I took this picture from my office window.  My office is on the 3rd floor, i think my phone did a pretty good job capturing the turtle!
