Date night - Halloween edition!

Jon and I went to iPic movie theater tonight for our special Halloween date night.  The place was soo cool and the seats were so cozy! This is my kind of movie theater.  Each showing only has a few seats available and they are assigned, so you don't have to worry about getting there early to get the perfect seat! And all the seats are nice big leather chairs with a moving table attached to them so you can put your drink on it, because this is a cool movie theater, so you can order food and drinks before the movie and enjoy them during the movie.  If you pay about $5 extra, you get even better seats, the recline, with unlimited popcorn and soda refills.  Maybe next time well try that, but i was happy with what we had tonight.  We watched Paranormal Activity 3, and it was pretty creepy! It wasn't as scary as the original one, but I still liked it and Jon and i were both pretty freaked out afterwards! lol

Jon and I got there about 45 mins before the movie started and had some food and drinks. We shared a

quesadilla, which i thought was really good.  Jon got a beer called "Hoppy Bitch" which i thought was pretty funny, lol.  I got an otter pop tini, which was pretty yummy.  After the move we got some happy hour nachos there and those were VERY good too! I'm sure Jon and I will be coming back to this theater a lot more often, yay!

Pizza party

We were all hurting from the night before, so after we went to McDonald's for some breakfast, we all pretty much slept until it was time for Rob and Courtney to catch their train back to Portland.  Jon was pretty hung over from last night, so i had to drive but Jon still came with me.  Once we dropped them off, we headed back home and watch the snapped marathon :) I love that show!

Later that day Jon went to Firos and got us some yummy pizza, and also to QFC for some ice cream and juice.  We had a pretty relaxed day of just recovering from the night before.  It definitely was a fun weekend!

Duck game and Halloween celebration!

Once everyone got up, the boys and Courtney went to QFC to get some food and snack for us to BBQ during the duck game.  They also got some alcohol, Rob and Courtney had bloody marrys and Jon and I had mamosas, yummy!

After the duck game, we all took naps, lol.  We were pretty drained from drinking so early and we need to rest up for our fun night ahead!

Once we got up, we all got ready and headed over to Chris and Ainara's place to prefunk before we hit the bars.  We had fun hanging out there and we took lots of pictures.

Jon and I were clowns again because i didnt think of anything else to be this year. And we really like being clowns!

All of us at the bar.  We had such a fun time at the bar dancing around, Jon even ripped a hole in the clown shoe from jumping around and dancing.  All in all, it was a really fun halloween night.  Jon and i have some pretty cool friend! :)

Pumpkin seeds / Friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got started on pumpkin seeds when i got home from work today.  I drained them and then put them on a baking sheet.  I think melted butter and pour it over the seeds, mixing them as i pour.  Then i added, some more salt, some canyan pepper and some garlic salt.  Then i put them in the oven to bake, i checked them ever 5-10 mins, i think they cooked for about 30 mins.

They ended up turning out good but maybe too spicy! oops!

Then i painted my nails so that they could be cute and clownie for my costume.  they didnt turn out as well as i wanted them to, but that was my fault because i was inpaitent and didnt let them dry all the way between coats.  But whatever, they were still cute.

Jon went to pick Rob and Courtney up from the train station around 9:30, while i stayed home and got ready for the night, because we were planning on going to a Halloween party, but when they got back to our place, no one really felt like dressing up, SO we ended up just hanging out at home and having some drinks. 

This Dude vodka is currently Jon's favorite, i don't really like it, it taste like Mt. Dew, yucky!

Pumpkin Fun!!!

I met Jon at his office today after work and we headed to Safeway to pick out some pumpkins.  I REALLY wanted to go to the pumpkin patch but we have been so busy we didn't have the time to go this year so i had to settle with the Safeway pumpkin patch! lol 

Here are our pumpkins in the back seat headed home with us.  Mine is the little one on the left and Jon's is on the right.

Once we got home, i made us bean burritos for dinner, which were SUPER yummy and then we started on the pumpkin carving fun.  Miley was very curious about what was going on, but was a good girl and just sat around and watched.  She looked so cute in her special Halloween outfit!

Jon also bought me this Frankenstein at Safeway.  I thought it was such a cute candy dish, i love it!

After all of the pumpkin carving fun, we worked on cleaning the seeds together.  It was such a process and i was so tired at this point, i really just wanted to give up, but Jon was excited for them, so we worked together and got it done.  Now they are soaking in water and salt so i can bake them tomorrow.

So i had to take a picture of my cute hair do today, I found step by step instructions on how to do this to your hair on pinterest, so i was very happy when i was able to actually do it! Oh and this is my new hair after my hair cut.  I think its cute and its a lot easier than my loooonnnggg hair!

After work, i met up with Yekta at the mall where she picked me up and we headed to Seattle to meet for dinner with a group of girls.  2 of the girls i had never met and are also new to Seattle and 1 of the girls, Jaime, i met at one of the girl power hour events.  I really like her and feel like i have the most in common with her.  Anyway, its restaurant week so all these fancy restaurants have $28 specials, which is what we did.  The food on the menu sounded a little weird BUT I ate it and it was good! My favorite part was the dessert, which i had to take a picture of because it looked so cute!

Tonight was a lot of fun, but i don't really see myself being friends with those girls, except for Yekta, and Jaime.  But we do plan on having more get together's, so well see how things go.

iPhone and my princess

My new phone FINALLY arrived today!! I was so excited to get it! Jon came and picked me up for lunch and surprised me with it.  Im sad that i have to get a new # but so very happy that i have a new phone!!! Jon and I went to a Chinese restaurant down the hill from my office, they have a really good lunch special and good food.  It was hard to do any work the rest of the afternoon with my new phone sitting next to me!

And of course, the 1st picture I took had to be of my pretty little princess!

3 Months of LOVE

Jon and I celebrated our 3 month anniversary at the Melting Pot today.  It was so nice and yummy! I made Jon a card and Jon surprised me with pink roses waiting for me at the table when we got to the restaurant.  I love my husband so much, and how special he always makes me feel.  We had a nice yummy dinner and we were stuffed by the time we left.
