2 years ago today.....

Jon and I adopted our little Miley!!!

I am so happy that Jon and I decided to adopt miley, she has brought so much happiness to our lives, I cant imagine not having her. 

I really wanted a little dog, so I began searching on petfinder.com and I came across Miley's picture, so I emailed it to Jon and asked him what he thought.  He instantly wrote back saying that she was perfect, so I emailed the shelter that had her listed.  They were having an adopting day at PetSmart that weekend, so I told them that I wanted to adopt Miley and that we would be there on Sunday.  That Sunday, I made sure we got there early, because I didn't want to risk someone else falling in love with her and trying to take her home.  We got there early and Miley's foster mom got there really late, so imagine how i felt the entire time i waited.  I thought that she was never going to show up! But then I saw her walk in with our baby and I instantly got my hands on our little Miley.  Miley was listed with the name "Minnie Pearl", I think Miley is a much better name for our princess! Once we had her in our arms, we were sure that she was the one that we wanted, so we completed the paperwork and she was officially our doggie! One of the best days of our lives!
