Date Night In!!!

I decided to do a "Date Night In" with Jon tonight.  We have been so busy and have not had anytime to just relax and hang out, but I also hate just sitting around and doing nothing on a Friday night, so i thought that this was PERFECT for us :)  I found this idea on the Love Actually blog
I decided to use their idea, as a starting point but changed it around for Jon and I.  I emailed him this flyer:

During my lunch, I went to Bartells and bought some laffy taffy and then after work i headed to Barnes & Nobel and bought some mad libs.  While Jon was on his way home from work, he called me and we decided what to order for dinner, so by the time he got home, i had already placed our take out order from the chines restaurant down the road from us.  Here was our set up:

Dinner was great and we had a lot of fun! We read each other the jokes on the backs of the laffy taffy and we took turns doing the mad libs.  After that, we watched some YouTube videos and then just hung out and watched some TV. 

Gotta say, that tonight's date night in was a total success, we will definitely do something like this more often!
