Today was a very fun and eventful day! I met up with Yekta this morning and headed to Seattle to meet up with a few other girls for breakfast at 5 Points Cafe. The place wasn't anything special, and the service wasn't great, but it worked! lol. After breakfast, we all headed over to the Seattle Center for the craft fair. I thought the craft fair would be more "Christmasy", like the ones Ive been to in Portland, but it wasn't, BUT it was still fun checking out everything that they had to offer. I ended up getting some yummy smelling soaps and an awesome necklace, which is made out of a recycled skateboard, so cool! The girl that makes them is also from Portland, so that made me even more happy! lol. Plus, its a heart and i LOVE hearts!
Yekta being the silly girl that she is, got lots of goodies, and 1 of them were wearable mustaches. Of course, she had to put on one as soon as we left and proceeded to walk to the car with it on. She also drove us all home with her mustache, she is too funny! I love this picture of her, totally cracks me up!
I got home around 1 and hung out at home and then Jon and I headed to Alderwood mall to pick up my bracelet that we had taken to the jeweler's the week before to get it sized. I was very excited to pick up my bracelet because i haven't been able to wear it since we got married. After the quick trip to the mall, we headed to a sports bar for some food and football. We found a bar close to the mall on Yelp that had really good reviews, so we decided to check it out. The UFC fight was playing on pretty much all of the TVs and the sound was on for the fight, so it was hard to enjoy the football games, so we ate and left and headed over to Rooneys, which is another sports bar near our new place. We really like this bar and they have LOTS of TVs for sports. All the games that Jon wanted to watch were playing so Jon was very happy. We weren't planning on staying at the bar all night, but then Jon saw a poster up about a band playing at 9:00, so we decided to wait and watch the band play.
The band was really cool and it was fun watching the band. After the bar, we ended up meeting up with Chris and Ainara. Then we all headed over to their friend Adams house. Which ended up being a long fun night! We pretty much all sat around the kitchen table and played drinking games until about 3:00 in the morning! It was a fun relaxing night, here are a few pictures of our night.
