The Burnside of Life: Comedy night

We had a fun filled busy day today. I worked until noon, then i went home and picked up Michelle. We then drove over to Jon's office, where Michelle got to meet Jon's coworkers and see his office. Then the 3 of us went to lunch at a taquria by Jon's office and had some yummy tacos.

After lunch, Michelle and I headed to target to get some last minute Christmas shopping done for Jon, i got him a pair of slippers and a video game. I think the video game looks pretty cool, so hopefully Jon likes it! once we were done there, we headed up to our old apartment so i could turn in our keys and be done with them forever! That was a great feeling! lol.

After all that running around we headed home. I was about to start wrapping Jon's gifts, when i realized that i had no idea where the scissors or tape where packed, so we headed to Bartells down the street to get some tape and scissors. Once i wrapped all of the gifts, Michelle and I just hang out at home until Jon got home.

I didn't realize how hard it is to hang out with someone that is not 21, lol. Usually when we have guest in town, we head to bars and stuff, so we had to come up with a new plan for Michelle :) We decided to go to the comedy club because Michelle has never been to one, and they had an 18 and over show at 8:00pm. When we got there, we had to get on a wait list because they had 2 large groups and weren't sure if there would be enough room for us. So while we waited we headed to a Chinese restaurant right by the comedy club. We order the "poo poo platter" lol, it was the appetizer with a little bit of everything.

While we were still home we were thinking of going to Thai for dinner. Michelle has never had Thai and had no idea what it was, so Jon google a picture of Thai food to show here. When we were at the Chinese restaurant, right there on there menu was the SAME picture that Jon found on google! Too funny!
